SCHEDULING AVAILABILITY

Thank you so much for visiting my site and considering working with me as your psychologist! My scheduling availability varies and I update my Contact page and my Psychology Today page when I have availability to take new clients. Please know that I only accept a new client if I am able to see him or her on a weekly basis. I always prioritize meeting the needs of my existing clients. When we work together, I want you to know that I can get you in for appointments and manage crisis situations that arise. To do such, I cannot be booked ahead of time on every hour. I am not currently scheduling new clients and do not anticipate doing so for several months. PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL BE ON FAMILY LEAVE AND MY OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED FROM MARCH 12, 2021 UNTIL JULY 2021.

Further, many clients want to come to sessions after work and school. I completely understand this and I offer several afternoon and evening appointment slots. I cannot, however, guarantee late afternoon/evening openings.

Starting July 1, 2019, my appointment slots will be as follows:

Monday appointments are 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, and 5 pm

Tuesday appointments are 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm

Wednesday appointments are 10 am, 2 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6:30 pm

Thursday appointments are 11 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, and 6 pm

Friday appointments are 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, and 5 pm.

Please note that I take two approaches to scheduling. Some clients like to come at the same time every week, while others like to move around based on other, shifting obligations. Most of my clients fall in the latter category, but I am happy to schedule you at a consistent weekly time if that works better for you and we can find a mutually agreeable slot.

Please note that I do not keep a wait list. I want people to get services as soon as possible and do not feel comfortable with people waiting for several weeks or months for me to have an opening. When I do not have openings, I encourage people to search on Psychology Today or through their insurance providers for alternative providers who are able to meet their needs more expediently.
